Our door systems have the exact dimensional equivalents of hollow metal doors, install exactly the same as hollow metal door systems and are indistinguishable from steel doors in appearance. Delivered with a quality primed finish or your choice of 10 standard color finishes. The durable industrial finish provides UV protection, color stability and long-term aesthetic appeal. Designed to use standard door hardware without special modification or additional reinforcement; custom prepped and ready for you to install your preferred hinge, lockset and closer.
During our proprietary manufacturing process, resin-saturated glass roving, continuous strand mats and other proprietary fibers are continuously pulled, under great pressure, through a heated die to encase 1.5" thick closed cell rigid foam. The FRP faces of each panel are 1/8" thick and the stiles are 9/16" thick, making it possible to prep for hinges at any location along the stile without the risk of weakness or delaminating. Because of our unique manufacturing process, our door panels have NO side seams and thus NO chance of delaminating. Top and bottom rails are FRP pultrusions, structurally bonded and fully sealed. All doors feature closed cell rigid foam completely encapsulated with resin-saturated continuous strand fiberglass mat. This results in a degree of toughness and chemical resistance far superior to polyester gelcoat finishes. |
